Acquisition, zoning, engineering, development, and environmental remediation of a 166-acre residential development
New West acquired this 166-acre closed aggregate material pit in 2003 and worked through a strictly regulated environmental approval process that resulted in the approval of 830 SF residential lots. The closure plan included the importation of over 1 million cubic yards of dirt and the installation of over 5 miles of groundwater subdrain system. The site was fully graded and sold to Beazer Homes in 2005.
